Why

Storytelling?

Presenting data does not always equate with an engaging story. It is hard to transport analytical findings and not lose your audience. We have all been there: Presentations filled with charts, broken down to regions, business units and teams. They are unclear, they cloud your message, and people forget them. The reason is simple. We tend to structure presentations before we think of the story we want to tell.

Find the story first and then explore the data. Know beforehand what you want people to do after they walk out. Don't bore them into confusion.

"The task of the leader is to get his people from where they are to where they have not been."
